Who am I?

You might have noticed that my former blog was called “I made the newspaper! Now what?” It chronicled my journey from the news industry to online marketing.

Yes, I made the newspaper. Literally. My passion for the newspaper industry began in middle school. I made it my mission to disseminate information so the public could make informed decisions necessary in a Democracy.

Sadly, newspapers are suffering, along with everyone in the business. I missed a lot of large layoff rounds before getting hit in March 2011, after years of furloughs – and seven professional years in journalism.

I added SEO copywriting and content marketing skills to my existing writing and editing abilities, transitioning to a successful online marketing career. Over the course of my online marketing career, I’ve done work for Content Marketing Institute, SuccessWorks SEO Copywriting, Brookstone and more.

I’m scared for the newspaper industry and what its suffering means for our country.

But now I have a new mission: to improve content on the web. To help you disseminate information to educate the public so consumers can make informed purchasing decisions.

I’m not here to help you spin your product or service.
